Kramer Baretta FR-404S/D Reviews 5

I got this awesome axe from MusicYo.Com. I already had a strat(blues) rig and needed another guitar as backup and as a way to expand my sound. This guitar really gives a lot more Oomph to my current rig. There was initially a problem with ordering and delivery. I ordered a Kramer Striker FR-422S and they sent me a Striker FR-422SM. The difference being a reverse headstock (Ok, shoot me I love the 80's) and a maple fretboard. I found that I like the sound of rosewood better, so that's what I ordered. After a few mix ups on the part of MusicYO - Rick Bassham stepped in and fixed me up with this Baretta Neck Through BEAST.

I like everything about it including the neck through feature and the rosewood fretboard is great. I really dig the reverse headstock. Me being a George Lynch fan kinda shows here.

The only thing I might change is the pickups. I have found that they are really "muddy" sounding and will probably put in a Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon (bridge) and 59' (neck).

Everything about this guitar has been done top notch. I have played for over 11 years and have played everything from Fender Strats to Jackson Dinky's to Ibanez RG and everything in between. This kramer is just as good. THe only difference is sound and style. This guitar has lots of both and then some!!!

LONG LIVE MUSICYO!!!!!!!!!!!1
